Marjorie J Denitti, 85, of North Belle Vernon, formerly of Perryopolis, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2023, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born Aug. 11, 1938, in Belle Vernon, daughter of Thomas H Scanlon and Iona Pascoe Scanlon. She was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church in Grindstone, Pa., and was a retired presser at the former Perry Sewing factory. She is survived by her daughter, Dana Boyd and husband Harry; son, Matthew Denitti III and wife Rose of Perryopolis; sister, Linda Calcek of Belle Vernon; sister-in-law, Marilyn Scanlon of Charleroi; grandchildren, Tim Denitti, Phillip Denitti, Harrison Boyd, Meggie Boyd and Cole Deniti; great-grandchildren, Lucas Denitti and Nicholas Denitti; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Matthew Denitti Jr.; and brother, Thomas Scanlon.
