Bearcats rout Wash High to capture section dual

It was a banner day for the Bentworth wrestling program Wednesday.
Earlier in the afternoon, Vitali Daniels and Chris Vargo committed and signed their letter of intent to continue their academic and wrestling careers at Edinboro University.
The two seniors picked up pins in a 60-12 rout of Section 1-2A foe Washington to continue the Bearcats’ undefeated stretch within the section.
“I am just amazed on a daily basis on how hard those two kids work,” Bentworth coach Mike Shrader said. “They’re both so humble. They put the work in every day and I think the younger kids see that. They are both great leaders for the program. (It’s) not every day you have a pair of kids that will be wrestling at the Division-I level from such a small school.”
