Arthur Jay ‘Bud’ Feldman – Carmel, Ind., formerly of White Oak

Arthur Jay “Bud” Feldman, 95, of Carmel, Ind., formerly of White Oak, passed away on Dec. 15, 2023, joining his beloved wife, Velma Schwartz Feldman. Born Nov. 18, 1928, in McKeesport, he graduated from McKeesport High School and attended Duquesne University. Bud was the son of doting and loving parents, Louis and Ruth Judd Feldman. Always athletically inclined, he loved bowling, tennis, and most of all being with his longtime friends who were always like family to him. He adored finding new restaurants and loved to travel. Bud was known for his puns and quick wit, which have been appreciated for years by his friends and family. Bud was a Navy veteran and the owner of Feldman Electric Inc. He was a past president of the White Oak Lions club and was involved with the organization after moving to be with family in Indianapolis. He is survived by his son, Bruce (Sally) Feldman; daughter, Robin (Hal) Miller; grandchildren, Judd (Lori) Feldman; Joshua (Erin) Feldman; Jake Feldman; Rachel Feldman; Lauren (Kyle) Roberts; and Jamie (Alexis Simchak) Miller. He was also lucky enough to enjoy his eight great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 21, 2023, with Rabbi Howie Stein officiating at Temple Cemetery, 731 Center St., Versailles, PA 15132. Arrangements are being handled by Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131, (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177). Bud’s wishes were that donations be made to Temple B’nai Israel (tbiwhiteoak.org) and the Parkinson’s Foundation (parkinsonsfoundation.org).
