Linda M. Miller Putnak Monongahela

Linda M. Miller Putnak, 78, of Monongahela, Valley Inn, died unexpectedly on Thursday, Dec. 14, 2023, in her home. Born Feb. 2, 1945, in Wichita, Kan., she was the daughter of the late Richard A. and Harriet Byers Miller. Linda worked for Miller Insurance Agency in Monongahela for many years until her retirement, and she was active in the Ginger Hill 4-H program and the Washington County Fair when her children were younger. She loved all animals and enjoyed sewing and baking. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey R. (Lisa) Putnak of Bentleyville; a daughter and son-in-law, Lauren E. (Mark) Bosanac of Monongahela; a brother, David R. Miller (Kathleen Carbone) of Monongahela; and three grandchildren, Eric Putnak, Lindsey Bosanac and fiancé Alex Hynek and Krista Bosanac. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry D. Putnak, who died April 11, 2013; two brothers, Richard S. “Ricky” Miller, who died March 28, 2012, and Jack B. Miller, who died Feb. 2, 2018. Friends are invited to attend a service at the Monongahela Cemetery Chapel beginning at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2023, with Deacon Alex Poroda officiating.
