The Pennsylvania Volleyball Coaches Association released their All-State teams and three local players found themselves among the Top 40 Class 1A players in the state.
Frazier junior setter and outside-hitter Gracen Hartman followed in sister Jensyn’s footsteps, achieving All-State status in her junior season.
After struggling with an injury most of her sophomore season, Hartman showed her versatility playing both positions this season as the Commodores reached the WPIAL semifinals and the state playoffs.
She finished as the team leader in assists and was one of the team’s top performers from the service line for the Commodores this season.
“Gracen ran our offense this season with poise and experience,” Commodores head coach Mandy Hartman said. “She also embraced her new role as an outside hitter which allowed us to run a more complex system. This is a well-deserved honor and something that has been a personal goal for her. It’s nice to see her reach this plateau.”
