Vincent A. Hynok – Plum Borough

Vincent A. Hynok 87, of Plum Borough, passed Thursday, Dec. 7, 2023. Vin-cent was born July 20, 1936, in Clairton, the son of the late John and Anna Urbanovich Hynok. Vincent served in the U.S. Army. He was a supervisor at J&L Steel and worked for 20 years at Plum Borough School District as a custodian. He is survived by his children, Phyllis (Bob) Brinker of Grayling, Mich.; Valerie Stockwell of Guston, Ky.; Nadine Goodwin, Richard Hynok and Vincent Hynok II, both of Plum Borough; grandchildren, JoAnn, Ruby, Valerie, Cody, Shane, Jim and Jackie Grace; great-grandchildren, Arthur, Jasmine Criswell, Simon Jr., Shay Sytmond, Beatrice, Francheska and Bruce Jr.; and a brother, John (Marcella) Hynok of Donora. He was preceded in death by his wife, JoAnn (Criswell) Hynok; three brothers; and one sister. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 11, 2023. Service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2023 with Rev. Harold Mele officiating at STEPHEN P. DOLENCE JR. FUNERAL HOME INC., 557 Unity Center Road (Unity), Plum Borough. Interment will be in Plum Creek Cemetery.
