Event raises more than $1,800 for cat spay/neuter project in Charleroi

Christmas came a bit early for Charleroi’s spay/neuter program for cats. After a fundraiser earlier this fall was canceled, a rescheduled basket bash held last month is being deemed a success after raising more than $1,800 for the program that is being organized in conjunction with Fix Ur Cat, a Washington County nonprofit organization that helps offer low-cost spay/neuter clinics for pets.
