Donora budget on hold as council member leaves before meeting

Donora Council was unable to hold its scheduled budget meeting Thursday night because finance Chairman Gib Szakal left before it began. Donora advertised that council would hold its regularly scheduled workshop meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday, followed by a special meeting at 7 p.m. “to review the 2024 budget and salary increase.”
