Debra Brewer LaRew – Belle Vernon

Debra Brewer LaRew, 67, of Belle Vernon, passed away Saturday, Dec. 2, 2023, at WVU Medicine Uniontown Hospital. Born March 5, 1956, in North Charleroi, she was the daughter of the late William Brewer and Mary Lou Basits Brewer Kalakewich, who survives and resides in Belle Vernon. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon, Debra was a retired cashier from Belle Vernon Walmart, was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed playing bingo. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her two brothers and sister-in-law, David Brewer of Belle Vernon, and Scott and Patricia Brewer of Belle Vernon; sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Tim Matsick of Belle Vernon; granddaughter, Ariyah Sutton; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Nicole LaRew; sister, Pamela Pendland; sister-in-law, Glenda Brewer; and two nephews, Zachary and Andrew Brewer. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS LLC, family owned and operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-6183. Interment will take place at a later date in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Condolences accepted at the funeral home’s website, www.parzynskifuneralhome.com.
