SA sneaks past BVA with 59-58 win

On the line or not? That was the story to a thrilling opening game of the MVI Shootout Classic Saturday at Charleroi High School. Trailing by three with mere seconds remaining, Belle Vernon Area’s Zion Moore buried a deep jumper. The referee signaled for a two-pointer, not three, as South Allegheny was able to escape with a 59-58 win over the Leopards to open the day’s slate.
