Anthony Pulgini, 62, of Donora, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2023, at Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital in Carroll Township. He was born Jan. 4, 1961, in New Eagle, son of the late Arthur Pulgini and the late Mary Cipicchio Pulgini. Anthony was a 1980 graduate of Ringgold High School. He worked in construction for a number of years before opening the family bakery with his sister and brother. He was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Parish, where he was door greeter at the 8:30 a.m. Sunday Mass. He volunteered at the parish fish fry and many other parish events. He was a member of Donora Knights of Columbus Council No. 1941. In addition to his parents, Anthony was preceded in death by his sister, Palma Pulgini, in 2014. Surviving to cherish his memory are his brother, Arthur J. Pulgini; and several cousins. Arrangements have been entrusted to ANTHONY L. MASSAFRA FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICE INC., 40 Second St, Ext., Donora, PA 15033, 724-379-6900, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2023. Prayers will be recited in the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2023, followed by a 10 a.m. Mass at St. Andrew the Apostle Parish Donora Campus.
