Renziehausen Park to receive $1.3 million in RAD money

McKeesport’s Renziehausen Park will receive a little more than $1.3 million in 2024 operating and capital expenses from the Allegheny Regional Asset District’s record $139.7 million 2024 budget. Allegheny County’s additional 1% sales and use tax, enacted in the mid-1990s, is estimated to generate $257.8 million in revenue in 2024. Half of that total will go directly to the county and its 128 municipalities for property tax relief and local government services.
