George E. “B.J.” Johnson III, 46, of Myrtle Beach, S.C., formerly of Monongahela and Charleroi, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, Nov. 10, 2023. George was born in Monongahela on June 9, 1977, the son of George E. Jr. and Gerry Gereshenski Johnson of Monongahela, who survive.  George was employed in the heating and air conditioning industry, along with pool maintenance prior to his death. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Alma and George Gereshenski; his paternal grandparents, Carolyn and Bud Johnson; and his paternal great-grandmother, Virginia Irwin. He was also predeceased by his aunt, Virginia Thompson; uncles George and Jack Gereshenski; niece, Alma Shipe, cousin, Jen Budney, and his godfather, Leslie Pemberton. He is survived by his loving wife, Sarah Fauth Johnson; his daughter, Lexi Fauth; and his son, George E. “Peanut” Johnson IV, who was raised by his grandparents; and a brother, Robert E. Johnson. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. Arrangements were handled privately.
