Thomas A. Josephi, 74, of Monongahela, formerly of Finleyville and Mt. Lebanon, passed away on Monday, Nov. 27, 2023, in UPMC McKeesport Hospital, Select Specialty Care. Born Nov. 4, 1949, in New Eagle, he was the son of the late Thomas E. and Louise Lascala Josephi. Following his graduation in 1968 from the former Mon Valley Catholic High School, he earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from Point Park College in Pittsburgh. Tom then worked until his retirement for the former Astorino & Sons Architectural firm in Pittsburgh for 30 years as an archivist. Tom was a devout Catholic by faith. He always enjoyed volunteering his time at the History and Landmark Center in Pittsburgh, reading and researching his family tree. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Terri and Joseph Clement of Fallowfield Township; two nieces, Jena (Travis) Rodriguez of Fallowfield Township and Erin (Michael) Raczkowski of Belle Vernon; three great-nephews and one great niece, Tylar and Avery Rodriguez and Vander and Milia Raczkowski; and his special aunt and godmother, Antoinette (Toni) Yavorsky of Monongahela. He is also survived by numerous cousins. Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial Mass at St. Andrew the Apostle Parish (Charleroi site), 624 Washington Ave., Charleroi, PA 15022, beginning at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 4, 2023.
