Groundbreaking held at Boston Ballfield

Phase one of Elizabeth Township’s plan to revitalize the Great Allegheny Passage in Boston began Monday evening as township commissioners held a groundbreaking ceremony for major renovations to the Boston Ballfield. Commissioners Dan Poirier, Chris Thoma, Jim Benedek and Josh Walls along with township manager Greg Butler joined representatives from PDDM Solutions, the company responsible for the engineering and construction of the project, at the site where lots of improvements are set to be completed.
