Joel C. Rebovich – Perryopolis

Joel C. Rebovich, 73, of Perryopolis, passed away Saturday, Nov. 18, 2023, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born Aug. 7, 1950, in Connellsville, he was the son of the late Joseph G. and Helen Jankura Rebovich. A lifelong resident of Perryopolis, Mr. Rebovich was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church in Perryopolis. He was retired from Charleroi Federal Bank as vice president of lending. Joel was a member of the Star Junction Fish & Game Club, Perryopolis Sokols and Perryopolis Sons and Daughters of Italy. He was an avid history buff, enjoyed horseback riding, hunting, fishing and working in his organic garden. He is survived by his wife, Dana Shaffer Rebovich, to whom he was married 36 years; son and daughter-in-law, Justin and Bethany Rebovich of Perryopolis; and son, Craig Rebovich and partner Tiffany Lepe of Miami, Fla. He was preceded in death by his brother, Daniel E. Rebovich. Visitation and funeral services were private for the family. Joel’s funeral arrangements have been entrusted to PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS LLC, family owned and operated, 191 Liberty St., Perryopolis, 724-736-2515.
