David L. Muirhead – North Belle Vernon

David L. Muirhead, 79, of North Belle Vernon, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2023, at his home. Born Sept. 28, 1944, in North Charleroi, he was the son of the late David and Dorothy Feehan Muirhead. A lifelong resident of North Belle Vernon, Mr. Muirhead was retired from Dick’s Sporting Goods Warehouse in Smithton and proudly served in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife, Marcia Soldati Muirhead, to whom he was married for 35 years; three stepsons, Cory and Kristen Jordan, Chad Sukel and Jamie Sukel; seven grandchildren, Zoe and Rylee Jordan, and Bryce, Maddox, Trent, Tristan and Damon Sukel; and his best buddy, his dog, Cooper. He was preceded in death by his brother, Bruce Muirhead. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday at PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS LLC, family owned and operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon. 724-929-6183. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC with Pastor Jeff Marton officiating. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
