BVA eyes options for filling vacancy

The Belle Vernon Area School Board discussed how it will fill a remaining vacancy during its work session Tuesday night. With school board members Joel Whiteko and Jason Gross seeing their terms come to an end, California Area High School Principal Josh Pollock was the only new member elected as incumbents Rob Harhai, Stacey Livengood, Stephanie Quinn and Janis Niemiec were chosen to continue serving on the board in the Nov. 7 general election.
