Vulcans get out to 2-0 start

One of the biggest things missing for the California (Pa.) women’s basketball team over the past few seasons was a go-to deep threat behind the arc. So, Vulcans head coach Jess Strom went out and got herself one in the transfer portal. Sierra Bermudez, a junior transfer from Clarion, enjoyed her first game at the Convocation Center in the red, white and black, as she buried seven 3-pointers and finished with a game-high 25 points to lead the Vulcans to an 84-68 win over No. 16 West Virginia State to close out the first night of the MEC/PSAC Challenge.
