She spent several years as a professor at Indiana University – East in Richmond, Ind., and retired in 2001. Mary Janet had a love for music and the arts, which she passed along to her children and grandchildren. She was a member of Calvary United Presbyterian Church in Donora, sang in the choir during her time there and served as choir director for several years. Most recently, she was a member of First Presbyterian Church of California. She was also an avid sports fan and loved her Pittsburgh Pirates. Some of her favorite athletes were Michael Jordan and one of her former students, Ken Griffey Sr.   She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, C. Edward Henry; her daughter, Barbara Gadola (Chester); sons, Ed Henry (Renee) and William “Bull” Henry; grandchildren, Matthew Miraglia (Patricia) and Adam Henry; great- grandchildren, Elise and Joey Miraglia; and niece, Lauren Hurray (Don). Arrangements are entrusted to FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-5300, www.FergusonFuneralHomeandCrematory.com.
