Marie E. Lipari – Monessen
Marie E. Lipari, 79, of Monessen, died Monday, Nov. 6, 2023, in Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital. Born in North Charleroi on Dec. 15, 1943, she was the daughter of the late James and Lucille Keller Lipari. Throughout her life, Marie worked as a seamstress, licensed beautician and medical assistant. She was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Catholic Church. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Tamara Durante of Monessen; a granddaughter and her husband, Antanette and Justin Murphy of Canonsburg; two great-granddaughters, Eleanor and Fiona Murphy; a sister, Jackie Elias of Monessen; and a brother and sister-in-law, James and Gigi Lipari of Fayette City. Friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday at ROBERT A. BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC., Grand Boulevard and Marion Avenue, Monessen, www.billicksfuneralhome.com. Catholic Daughters of America will hold services at 6 p.m. Thursday. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the funeral home with Father Michael Crookston officiating. Entombment will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park.
