Constance E. Richards Biller – North Charleroi

By obits

Constance E. Richards Biller, 94, of North Charleroi, passed away peacefully at home with her loving family by her side on Nov. 5, 2023. Constance was born on Jan. 7, 1929, to the late Bernard and Gertrude Cullen Richards. Connie will be remembered as a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. She will be celebrated as someone who truly cared about others and greatly desired to know how you were, both in good times and during life’s struggles. In addition to valuable words of wisdom, Connie would take the time to listen and truly care in a world that is often too busy for one another. Although much can be said about Connie’s beauty, grace and dignity, those who knew her best will fondly remember her incredible sense of humor and never-ending sense of fun. She was well-loved and she loved well. Connie knew Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. A note found in her journal to her children and grandchildren describes the sacrificial love she strived to model and pass on to her family. “To my five beautiful children: You have made this world a better place. I wish for you not only peace in this life, but peace that abounds in your hearts as well. Love is the key. Help one another. Please, look for the good side in people. In the long run, you will be better off for it. I love you all!” Preceding her in death were her husbands, Ernest Elias, John Dodato and Rudolph Biller; her sister, Shirley (Richards) Hall; her sons, Ernest Elias Jr. and John Jeffrey Dodato; as well as two grandsons, John Andrechak and Jeremy Elias. Constance is survived by her daughters, Maureen Sproull and Dianne Zinsmaster; along with Dianne’s husband, James; and her grandchildren, Brian, Michael, Connie Jo, Doug, Kimberly, Shantae, John A., Abigail, Vinnie and Lindsey. She is also survived by 27 great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 10, 2023, at HOGAN-MELENYZER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, PA 15022. A service to celebrate the life of Constance Biller will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, 2023, at Hogan-Melenyzer Funeral Home with the Rev. Doug Raraigh officiating. Interment will follow at Westland Cemetery, Centerville. Please visit www.hogan-melenyzer.com for the full obituary.
