Commodores set to battle defending state champs

After bouncing back from a disappointing loss to Bishop Canevin in the WPIAL semifinals, the Frazier volleyball team rebounded with a win over Greensburg Central Catholic to reach the PIAA state playoffs for the second straight season. Now, the Commodores (19-2) start the quest for a state championship tonight when they travel to Guys Mills, to face defending state champion and this year’s District 10 champion Maplewood (16-3) for a 6 p.m. start.
