David J. Kudlik – originally from Monessen

David J. Kudlik, 72, originally from Monessen, passed away on Oct. 21, 2023, in the Donnell House of Washington. He was born in Charleroi on May 1, 1951, son of the late Walter and Tillie Beres Kudlik. David was a humble man with a great heart who truly loved his family and friends. He was a Christian who had accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. David was an avid sports fan with a wealth of knowledge. He was a fan of Notre Dame Fighting Irish football, UCLA basketball and all Monessen Greyhounds athletics. Surviving are his brother, Mark and wife Coleen Kudlik of Suttersville; sisters, Myra and husband Jeff Emge of Chippewa Township, and Stacey and husband Tom O’Connor of Pittsburgh; nieces and nephew, Marissa, Erich, Casey, Carly, Jamie, Reilly and Caley; and several cousins. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to RHOME FUNERAL HOME INC., 1209 Grand Blvd., Monessen, where friends will be welcomed from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9, 2023, the time of the memorial service, with Pastor Frank Rocco officiating.
