James A. Pierce – Donora

James A. Pierce, 52, of Donora, passed away on Oct. 29, 2023, in St. Clair Hospital. He was born on July 3, 1971, a son of the late Carol Kowall Pierce and Larry Pierce. He was a member of the Russian Club of Donora, VFW of Monongahela and a former member of the Monessen French Club. He enjoyed camping, boating, playing cards, dancing, game shows, video games, hockey, guns, fancy cars, fireworks, Halloween and Christmas. Surviving are his wife, Kelly McElfresh Pierce; children, James Pierce Jr. and Courtney Wheeler, Alisha and husband Lonnie Lawver, Sheyenne and husband Cyrus Bates, Sheena Roberts and Shania Roberts; seven grandchildren; brothers, Larry and wife Cindy Pierce and Bobby Pierce; and stepmother, Cindy Pierce. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Joann Pierce. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to RHOME FUNERAL HOME INC., 1209 Grand Blvd., Monessen, where friends will be welcomed from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday.
