Georgeanna J. Gamble – La Belle

Georgeanna J. Gamble, 80, of La Belle, died Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2023, in the Jefferson Hospital. She was born Oct. 30, 1943, in New Eagle, the daughter of John Frank and Hazel May Fine Staffen. Georgeanna attended River Hill Church of Christ. She was artistic and talented when it came to crafting. She loved spinning and weaving, doing macrame and painting. She enjoyed having her grandchildren around and spending time with them. She is survived by two daughters, Tina (Shawn) Nowakowski of La Belle and Renee Lynch of Georgia; daughter-in-law, Gina Gamble of Middletown, Md.; nine grandchildren, Regis and Jonathan Gamble, Shawn, John and Amanda Nowakowski and Carrie, William, Nathan and Travis Lynch; 12 great grandchildren, Evelyn, Aris, Suzanna, Lucas, Ruby, twins Atlas and Collin, Everett, Ian, Aleah, Grayson and Emma; and a sister, Claire Arp of Tennessee. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Regis Anthony Gamble; son, Regis A. Gamble; and brothers, John, David and Edward Staffen. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2, 2023, at FRYE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 427 West Main St., Monongahela, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 3, 2023, with the Rev. Jude Urso officiating. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Monongahela. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family at www.fryefuneralhome.com.
