After just five days of collecting coins at Central Elementary, students were able to raise more than $3,200 to be donated to Meals on Wheels of Elizabeth Forward. Students were rewarded for their hard work with an assembly Friday afternoon, which included representatives from Meals on Wheels of Elizabeth Forward explaining their good deeds to them, as well as a pizza party for the two-highest raising classes. Dana DeCecco’s second grade class contributed $422.26, and Michele Hodge’s third grade class raised $342.59.
