BVA School Board: Tax assessment debate continues

The Belle Vernon Area School Board considered changes to its tax assessment program at Monday night’s meeting. Board member Rob Harhai repeated his opposition to the program from district Solicitor Andrews and Price. The assessment, which calls for taxes based on the sale price of properties, was passed in a 9-0 vote in April.
