Patricia E. Karbowsky, 84, of Allenport, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 22, 2023, in Scottdale Manor. A daughter of the late John and Agnes Pello Kovall, she was born on April 5, 1939. Pat has been a resident of Allenport for over 40 years and was a former member of the Roscoe Lions Club. She was employed for many years at Dunlevy Assisted Living as a cook. Pat will be remembered for being the best mom, helping her family anywhere she could. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Nicole and Charles Terrell of Charleroi; a brother, John Kovall of Uniontown; four grandchildren, Lucas (Jill) Terrell, Carlie Terrell, Mason Terrell and Nora Terrell; and a great-grandchild, Parklynn Terrell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Karbowsky, on March 30, 2017; and a nephew, Richard Kovall. Friends will be received from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-5300. A funeral service will begin at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Chuck Jack officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
