Charles Ciepiela – Somerset

Charles Edward Ciepiela, 85, of Somerset, passed away peacefully on Oct. 18, 2023. He is a son of the late Charles C. and Helen Eory Ciepiela. Charles is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, M. Kay Schulz Ciepiela; children, Melissa (Byron) Evans and Charles II (Heather) Ciepiela; and grandchildren, Joshua (Dawn) Evans, Jacob Evans, Justin (fiancé, Savannah) Ciepiela and Christian, Ashley and Michael Ciepiela. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, Noah, Cameron, Chloe and Cayden; sister, Patricia (Shawn) Casey; and numerous nieces and nephews. Charles was a 1956 graduate of Bellmar High School. He was a retired steel mill worker at the Clairton Works. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish. At Charles’ request, all services will be private.
