Cougars earn No. 1 seed, Leopards No. 5 in 2A

After winning the Section 2-1A title and finishing its regular-season slate with a perfect 16-0 record, the Charleroi boys soccer team was rewarded Wednesday afternoon. The defending Class 1A runner-up Cougars earned the No. 1 seed in the upcoming WPIAL playoffs and will host No. 16 Beaver County Christian (6-8-1) in the first round Saturday.
