Library celebrates Monessen’s history

The St. Spyridon Hellenic Center was packed with Monessen pride Tuesday afternoon during the 31st annual Monessen Public Library luncheon. The event was organized by the Friends of the Monessen Public Library, an unaffiliated fundraising group for the library, and sponsored by them, St. Spyridon’s Philoptochos Society and By George Catering to support the library and celebrate Monessen in its 125th year.
