John S. Cooper – Charleroi

John S. Cooper, 76, of Charleroi, died Friday, Oct. 6, 2023, in Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital. He was born in Charleroi on June 28, 1947. He retired as head of trades from Corning Glass, and along with his wife, owned and operated Cooper Electric Inc. John was a member of the Charleroi Masons and the Odd Fellows. He is survived by his wife, Sandra A. Joseph Cooper; two sons, Scott Cooper Jr. and A.J. Cooper, both of Charleroi; and daughter and son-in-law, Heidi and Shawn Patterson of Carroll Township; and three grandchildren, Scotty Cooper III, Maggie Cooper and Sydney Patterson. Per John’s wishes, private family funeral services were held. ROBERT A. BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC., Monessen, was entrusted with the arrangements.
