Monessen native Barron wins boxing championship at 62

When most people get to their 60s, their thoughts are often on retirement, maybe traveling more or just stopping to smell the coffee. Jim Barron is not one of them. Barron, 62, who grew up in Monessen and still has most of his family there, took a different route. He took up the sport of boxing.
