His Place draws large crowd for 2nd annual block party

His Place Coffee, Community and More in Monessen hosted its second annual block party Saturday morning, gathering residents for live music from the Christian Center Church worship group along with activities such as arts and crafts. “Last year, we did it for our anniversary,” said event organizer Lisa Lyons. “This year we just decided that, why not do it again, because it was a lot of fun. It’s something we hope to do annually and that the city continues to let us close down the street.”
