Deborah Louise Ingram was born in Monessen on June 8, 1952, to the late Leroy Aaron Ingram Jr. and the late Alyce Louise Love Ingram. She departed this life with her family by her side on Sept. 9, 2023. The second of three children, she was preceded in death by her sister, Jerri Lynn Ingram Bradby.  Deborah “Debbi” graduated from Monessen High School. In 1974, she and her young son Douglas “Doug” Ingram moved to Alexandria, Va. While working at Pepco, a utility company, she met her husband, the love of her life, the late Jerry “JB99” Benton of Fayetteville, N.C. To this union of love was born their daughter, Tiffany Michelle. After leaving Pepco, Debbi began working for C&P Telephone, which later became Bell Atlantic and then Verizon. She retired from the company after 25 years of dedicated service. Debbi always made time to go home to Monessen to visit family and friends. She was known for her infectious laugh and humor, beautiful smile and loving and giving spirit. She was loyal to the ones she loved. She enjoyed playing cards, cooking, attending “Bike Week” on Memorial Day, holiday gatherings and trips to Las Vegas. Debbi will be greatly missed by those whose lives she touched. She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Douglas “Doug” Ingram (Kiayer); daughter, Tiffany Ingram; one brother, Leroy Ingram III; seven grandchildren, one grandson, one brother-in-law, a niece, nephews, great and bonus nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Viewing will take place from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 30, 2023. A service will begin at 11 a.m. at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 230 Reed Ave., Monessen, with Bishop Karl Jackson officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Celebration of life has been gently placed in the hands of HOUSE OF JACKSON MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 546 Thompson Ave., Donora, Karl Jackson, funeral director, 724-379-5420.
