Clifford Carlson, 69, of Carroll Township, died Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2023, at Monarch Meadow in Uniontown. He was born Nov. 18, 1953, in North Charle- roi, son of the late Clifford Carlson and late Rosemarie Beres Carlson. He was a 1971 graduate of Ringgold High School and 1974 graduate of California University with a Bachelor of Science in Education. He taught in the Ringgold School District for a couple years after which he spent 20 years at Fox Grocery as a shipping supervisor. He was a member of the Donora Elks and the Mon Valley Country Club. Cliff was an avid golfer, hunter and fisherman. ​Surviving to cherish his memory are his two sisters, Karen Strickland of Carroll Township, and Patricia Livingston of California, Pa.; brother, Ted Carlson of Donora; nieces, Amanda and Kayla; and nephews, Eric, Alex, Chad and Donnie; and several great-nieces and nephews.
