BVA fund awards grants

The Belle Vernon Area Charitable Fund announced the recipients of several grants during Monday night’s school board meeting. Jack Lofink, chairman of the fund, was at the meeting as more than $10,000 was dispersed to schools in the district. At the high school, Apple Pens will be purchased for math classrooms for $7,000. At the middle school, $2,000 will go towards National History Day Artifacts and $3,000 will go toward escape room projects.
