‘Best defensive effort’ leads Cougars past Bearcats

After a scoreless first half, the Charleroi girls soccer team unloaded four goals on visiting Bentworth en route to a 4-0 win in Section 2-1A action Monday at Myron Pottios Stadium. The win by the Cougars (9-1, 6-1) sets up a showdown for first place Wednesday at Chartiers-Houston.
