Valley Art Club show opens at Monessen Library

The Valley Art Club opened its annual exhibition Sunday at Monessen Public Library, kicking off with an afternoon reception featuring an awards ceremony judged by Brentwood artist Laura Sippos. The exhibit runs through Oct. 6 and features about 100 pieces, some for sale and others for viewing only. Founded in 1941, the Valley Art Club brings together artists from across the Mon Valley.
