Jacquelyn ‘Jackie’ Suppa – Belle Vernon

Jacquelyn “Jackie” Suppa, 90, of Belle Vernon, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2023, in her home. A daughter of the late Richard and Dorcas Lamb Phillips, she was born in Lumberton, N.C., on March 31, 1933. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon, she was a member of First Baptist Church in Belle Vernon. Jackie loved spending time with her family. She is survived by a son, Angelo Suppa of Belle Vernon; four daughters and sons-in-law, Toni Bruce of Belle Vernon, Victoria and Mark Patten of Scenery Hill, Tina Suppa of Haines City, Fla., and Donna and Grady Bolton of Beaumont, Texas; a brother, John Martin of Troy, N.C.; 10 grandchildren, Eddie Weightman, Angelo Suppa IV, Alisha Weightman, Ashleigh Maynerik, Christopher Bruce, Franco Maynerik, Nicole Pidgeon, Jacqueline Jae Maynerik, Christopher Suppa and Bria Suppa; and 12 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Charles “Chucky” Suppa, in 1986; a grandson, Eric Weightman; two sisters, Margaret Merrill and Helen Farrell; and two brothers, David Martin and Richard Phillips. Friends will be received from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday at FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-5300, www.FergusonFuneralHomeandCrematory.com. A funeral service will begin at 6 p.m. with Pastor Mitch Wall officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
