John L. Crea II – Dunlevy

John L. Crea II, 34, of Dunlevy, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2023, in Pittsburgh. Born Oct. 10, 1988, in Monongahela, he was the son of John F. Crea and Mychelle of Belle Vernon, and Tina Gregory Crea and significant other, Michael Coulson, of Dunlevy. John worked as a bricklayer and was a die-hard Pittsburgh fan. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having toured in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars and was the recipient of the Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal and Iraq Campaign Medal. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Chaz Anthony Crea; sister and brother-in-law, Christa and Adam Nicholls of Perryopolis; half-sister, Kira Crea of New Stanton; stepsister, Noelle Navarra of Belle Vernon; two nephews, Jordan Crea and Jacob Nicholls; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7:30 p.m. Friday followed by funeral services at 7:30 p.m. with Pastor Robert C. Prinkey officiating at PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS LLC, family owned and operated, 191 Liberty St., Perryopolis, 724-736-2515. The family would like to invite family and friends to join them at the Perry Township Fire Department Social Hall for a repast between the visitation hours of 4 to 6 p.m. Friday.
