Isabelle L. Lynn – Rostraver Township

Isabelle L. Lynn, 88, of Rostraver Township, died Thursday, Sept. 14, 2023. Born in Smithton on May 3, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Melissa (Davis) Hammers. Isabelle was a life member of Concord United Methodist Church in Rostraver Township. She was a supervisor when she worked at Perry Manufacturing in Perryopolis. Together with her late husband, Sonny, they enjoyed bowling, going on bus trips and going to Center on the Hill. She especially loved the Pittsburgh Steelers. She is survived by her son, Kenneth (Valerie) Lynn of Monessen; daughters, Diana Lynn of Confluence, Dena (Robert) King of Bonaire, Ga., and Tammy (Dannie) Halinka of Monessen; grandchildren, Mick (Thuy) Colabrese, Kristofer (Candace) Colabrese, Kimberly (Jeff) Martin, Stephanie (Joey) Stringa, Amy Wade, Angela Lynn, Ryan King, Krysta (Brian) Stokes, Timothy Halinka and Melissa Halinka (Christian); great grandchildren, Sophie Vavrock, Patrick Martin, Parker Martin, Nico Stringa, Rocco Stringa, Gino Stringa, Alonzo Wade, Curtis Wade, Emmalynn Stokes and Summer Stokes; brothers, Homer (Lois) Hammers of Florida and Wells (Cheryl) Hammers of Medina, Ohio; and sister, Mary Lou Palmer of Girard, Ohio. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene A. “Sonny” Lynn; brothers, Dave Hammers, Harry Hammers and Paul Hammers; and sister, Leah Rogenski. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at JAMES C. STUMP FUNERAL HOME INC., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township, 724-929-7934, www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday with Pastor Sandra E. Fitzgibbons officiating. Interment will follow in Olive Branch Cemetery.
