Bearcats surprise Monessen, end long conference drought

A year after finishing last in the Tri-County South Conference, Bentworth made a big statement while ending a lengthy drought in Friday night’s conference opener. Quarterback Vitali Daniels rushed for three touchdowns and the Bearcats’ defense limited Monessen to less than 100 yards of total offense in a 28-0 win at Memorial Stadium.
