Brice files suit against Donora

Donora’s former police superintendent filed a lawsuit against the borough in federal court this week alleging age discrimination. Jim Brice, who was police superintendent until his firing in August 2022, has been fighting against what has seemed like a long-term plan to see him removed from his position since early 2020 when then-mayor Jim McDonough and Councilman Joe Greco first attempted to force Brice to retire, as cited in the suit.
