Ralph Vincent Carlucci Jr., 57, of Virginia Beach, Va., formerly of Bethel Park and Monessen, passed away Monday, Aug. 21, 2023, at Sentara Princess Anne Hospital in Virginia Beach, surrounded by family. Ralph’s greatest joy in life was his family. He loved his family with all his heart. He was kind, funny, fiercely loyal and most proud of his children, Savannah and Jack. He was a devoted husband and best friend to Dawn for the past 29 years. He was a light that shone brightly for all who knew him. Ralph taught elementary school and middle school for 14 years for Virginia Beach City Public Schools. After retirement, he continued his love for teaching through tutoring many students throughout the years. Left to forever cherish his memory are his wife, Dawn Carlucci; children, Savannah and Jack; his parents, Ralph and Merilee Carlucci; in-laws, Dale and Carolyn Hines; brother and sister-in-law, Rick and Kim Hines; nephew, Logan Hines; aunts, Martha Miller and Michele Neff; uncle, John Carlucci (Karen); many cousins; and dearest friends, Brian and Debbie Stollings and Tim and Mary Ann Senecal. A private memorial service will be held in Bethel Park, Pa. Donations can be made to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (lls.org) or American Cancer Society (cancer.org).
