John Gregory ‘Greg’ Medvick – Stockdale

John Gregory “Greg” Medvick of Stockdale passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, Sept. 2, 2023, at age 66. Greg was born on Jan. 7, 1957, to John and Margaret Zola Medvick in Charleroi. After graduating from Charleroi High School in 1975, he went on to study at California University in California, Pa., graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. Greg enjoyed antiquing, music, sports, trout fishing with his father and traveling. He also had a great sense of humor that he acquired from his mother. He will be missed by all who loved him. Greg was predeceased by his father, John, and mother, Margaret. He is survived by his sister, Marlene Medvick of Oakton, Va.; cousins, Mary (Pat) Nelson of Sanford, N.C., Beth Medvick of Mayfield Heights, Ohio, Susan Kelley of Ligonier, Jim Kelley of Crosby, Texas, Tim Kelley of Lago Vista, Texas, and Ronnie Barker of Fayette City; and very dear and close family friends, Donna C. Heflin of Oakton, Va., Steve Spisak of Roscoe and Tom Zoppetti of Stockdale. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to noon Friday, Sept. 8, 2023, with funeral services starting at noon at MELENYZER FUNERAL HOMES & CREMATION SERVICES INC., 1008 Furlong Ave., Roscoe, with the Rev. Jude Urso presiding. Interment will follow at Monongahela Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.melenyzer.com.
