Marge Tabory, 91, of Monongahela, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 2, 2023, at the Whitetail Springs Memory Care Community in Whitehall. Born March 12, 1932, in Monongahela, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Antonia Massura Tabory. In 1950, Marge graduated from the former Monongahela High School and then from the Mercy School of Nursing, graduating first in her class. She was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Parish in Monongahela, where she was a former Eucharistic minister and a member of its Altar Rosary Christian Mother Society. After her graduation, she began working as a registered nurse at the former Monongahela Memorial Hospital before retiring from Monongahela Valley Hospital in 1994. She is survived by two sisters, Ann Tabory of Monongahela and Irene Levdansky of Elizabeth; along with many nieces and nephews and their families and great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph and Walter Tabory and two sisters, Helen Baron and Viola Sikora. Friends will be received at MARSHALL MARRA FUNERAL HOME, 216 Chess St., Monongahela, 724-258-6767, from 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2023. Blessing prayers will begin at 9:15 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian burial in St. Andrew the Apostle Parish, Monongahela, beginning at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery.
