Mural, columns unveiled in Monongahela

Taking a stroll to the Aquatorium is now a bit more colorful while evoking memories of Monongahela’s past. On Aug. 22, nonprofit Rivers of Steel along with Mon Valley Alliance and other local organizations held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the completion of a pavement mural and columns of historical reference. They’re on the walkway between the Mon Valley Alliance office and Main Street Tavern, located in the 200 block of West Main Street.
