Gladiators start season with win over Yough

Yough football coach Ben Hoffer told his defense that it couldn’t let South Allegheny’s Cameron Epps gain 200 yards Friday night. Epps had 226 rushing yards and three touchdowns as the Gladiators (1-0) picked up their first win under new head coach Brian Hanson. The 28-14 decision was also their first victory at Gladiator Stadium, which opened last season.
